2000 Watts Class D

A Class D amplifier with a maximum power of 2000 Watts and a patented Energy Recovering System (ERS) drives the 6.5 inch driver. A – again according to the manufacturer – optimized power supply must guarantee good dynamics and precisely defined bass. You will also find passive bass radiators on both sides.

Practical is the anti-clipping circuit that prevents overload. Finally, there is also a subwoofer direct input, which bypasses the internal separation filter.

The Velodyne MicroVee MKII is available in black and white for €1100. A perfect solution if you don’t have room for a subwoofer with more traditional dimensions. Also ideal as a subwoofer for the bedroom or study. Velodyne was purchased at the end of last year by the German Audio Reference, as you can read here.
