Arcam launches new Solo Uno

Arcam

The new Solo Uno by Arcam is not only wonderfully compact, it also has a very nice price tag. All you have to do is connect speakers and enjoy your music!

That ‘good or better audio’ doensn’t have to financially ruin you, is a fact. And the British brand Arcam proves it again with the new Solo Uno. This super compact streamer amplifier costs only €699. You get a power amplifier with a power of 2 x 50 watts to 4 ohms. No… it’s not that much, but not a lot of speakers need more than this. And realize you also get a decent streamer. And despite the small size is even provided with a line input. But due to lack of space, that is now a 3.5 mm mini-jack.

Furthermore – if we take a look at the back – we see an SUB-out connector, an Ethernet port and a USB port. Also worth mentioning is the full MQA compatibility that the Arcam Solo offers. And to make it complete, the system is also Roon Ready.

Remote control

To complete the functionality, GoogleCast, Airplay 2 and UPnP are also supported. The whole system can be updated ‘over the air’, so your system will always stay up to date. The Arcam Solo Uno weighs 1.5 kilo and besides a fixed Ethernet connection, it can also be connected wirelessly to your (home) network via Wifi. Operation is largely via the corresponding app.
