For the sports enthusiasts among you, Bang & Olufsen has released a special sports edition of the E8, called E8 On.
Bang & Olufsen has released a sports version of the E8 in-ear in cooperation with On. The addition On confirms the cooperation and also indicates that this is a special version. On is a Swiss brand that focuses specifically on sports, something that is clearly reflected in the E8 On. Materials such as silicone, rubber and corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium have been used extensively. These materials can also be seen in the housing. A housing by the way, which also functions as a charger for the real wireless in-ears.
7 hours playing time
Bang & Olufsen and On have been thinking about the discomforts of athletes regarding mobile listening. For example, there is a ribbed rim on the caps, which should make it easy to get a grip. Also with sweaty fingers. Another handy feature is that you can use the caps to change tracks, make phone calls and also have a transparency mode available.
The latter option ensures that you also get some of the sound from your surroundings. When fully charged, the battery built into the headphones is good for 7 hours of non-stop playing time. If you don’t run the marathon in your block within that time, there is still the storage box which also contains a battery.
When fully charged, it is good for 3.5 times extra charging on the road without a power socket nearby. That results in a total of 30 hours of mobile play. That should be enough to reach the finish line anyway. The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay E8 Sport On Edition – as they are called in full – costs €350. They are now available, but in limited edition.
