Harman Kardon has (almost) introduced the Citation 200 portable speakers. Equipped with a rechargeable battery, so they can be taken anywhere.
The new Harman Kardon Citation 200 portable speakers have Wifi. This makes things like streaming via AirPlay and Chromecast possible. The latter option gives you access to more than 300 streaming services. Multiroom options are also available. And if you would like to use these Harman Kardon speakers wifi-less outside the door, this is possible thanks to Bluetooth. That way, you can also listen to music on the campsite via your smartphone, for example. With the added advantage that in principle you do not need to use mobile data. Well: if you have at least saved your music files locally or downloaded them into a streaming app for offline playback.
Splash proof
Internally you will find a 5-inch midrange driver, two passive bass radiators and a 1-inch tweeter. For the well-known enthusiasts, the Google Assistant is also available on the Harman Kardon Citation 200. In short: a nice complete package.
Add to that the speakers are splashproof (IPX4) and have Kvadrat woollen cover and you’ll see that there’s something pretty standing on the table (or shelve). The newborns will be available from next month, with a choice of Winter Gray and Classic Black. The price: €299 per speaker (Europe, incl VAT). In this pdf of Harman Kardon you will find more information about the 200 and other speakers from the Citation series.
