Optoma CinemaX P2 Ultra short throw laser 4K projector

Optoma

Optoma has released the new CinemaX P2 projector. It is a short-throw laser projector with 4K ultra HD resolution, including smart capabilities.

In addition to the highly successful UHZ65UST that has just received an EISA award, Optoma is now introducing an additional model in white housing. This stylish ultra-short-throw projector is part of the CinemaX range and delivers an unforgettable picture in 4K UHD digital cinema quality in the comfort of your own home.

Laser technology ensures – according to Optoma – accurate, true-to-life colour reproduction with extensive DCI-P3 coverage – perfect for recreating the experience on a large screen at home,” says distributor KlankBart. Packed with the latest technology and features, the CinemaX P2 offers HDR compatibility, advanced PureMotion frame interpolation processing that eliminates motion blur or image shake, voice control, streaming apps and a built-in media player.

Laser and media player

Optoma laser projectors use high-quality lasers to create the projected image. In many situations, the perceived brightness of laser exposure projectors can be twice that of an equivalent lamp-based model. They also provide higher efficiency to maintain consistent brightness, superior color performance, instant on/off and an extraordinary life of up to 30,000 hours.

Furthermore, you can watch movies directly from your projector without the need for a laptop or PC via the built-in media player. Easily copy your files to a USB stick and watch them on the big screen.

HDR compatible

KlankBart: ‘This Optoma projector can receive and display HDR10 and HDR content and gives you a really detailed picture for a greater sense of depth. Watch your movies, TV shows and play games with stunning colors in any environment. Optoma projectors offer reliable performance suitable for any content and environment. Our home projectors can reproduce the Rec.709 colour range, the international HDTV standard to ensure accurate reproduction of cinematic colours exactly as the director intended. Or more saturated colours for a spicy looking image, ideal for games and animated films’.

Keystone correction in 4 angles

Practical with this projector is that the keystone can be adjusted in both the vertical and horizontal plane. In other words: You can rotate each angle of the image separately to create a perfect square image. Ideal for uneven walls or where placement of the projector is difficult and needs to be at an angle. Remains the stylish design, with a beautiful white finish, complemented by grey and silver details.
