With the new iFi Micro iDSD Signature you get not only a portable DAC, but also a headphone amplifier on the go… in your home.

Always handy, a device like this iFi Micro iDSD Signature portable DAC and headphone amplifier. It allows you to listen to better sound quality than what the average smartphone or tablet has to offer. The compact housing contains a 4800 mW battery, which in fully charged condition – depending on use – is good for 6 to 12 hours of playing time.

The beating heart of the iFi Micro iDSD Signature is formed by two DAC chips from Burr Brown, armed with True Native Architecture. The iFi Micro iDSD Signature has a maximum PCM quality of 32 bit / 786 kHz, DSD to DSD 512. Also playing DXD, 2xDXD and MQA is no problem at all.

For connections to the iFi Micro iDSD Signature, choose from an OTG USB 3.0 input, or go for coax/S/PDIF (merged into one combined input). Plug your headphones into the 6.3 mm jack or 4.4 mm Pentaconn jack and you are good to go!

The maximum available output power is 4.1 watts, enough for even the most demanding, energy-drinking headphones. And if you don’t want the battery to run down too quickly, there are three modes to choose from: Turbo, Normal and Eco. Furthermore, all kinds of other things are adjustable via a plethora of filters. Also, the home iFi XBass + and 3D + are not missing. The iFi Micro iDSD Signature costs about €700.
