Amazon will soon release a new version of the Amazon Echo Buds in-ears. True wireless ones and ANC on board. The Amazon Echo Buds 2nd Generation features several improvements over the brand’s first generation of in-ears. One thing that stands out is the lower price; you buy a set for the introductory price of $120 (a tenner less than its predecessor). The regular price is $140, also still quite affordable. And much less than what Apple charges for its AirPods Pro in any case.
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) has been improved, while the weight has been reduced.
Amazon Echo Buds ANC with Pass-through
The improved ANC now also features a pass-through mode. In other words: if you want to listen to your surroundings, you can do so without having to remove the earplugs from your ears.
Naturally, the Amazon Echo Buds also support the homegrown smart assistant Alexa. The buds will be available in the US starting around the middle of this month. It is not yet clear when they will be delivered to all European regions, so we will have to wait and see. However, there is a good chance that they will appear at the German Amazon, for example.
Take your chance if you happen to be looking for a reasonably affordable set of in-ears.
