Deezer launches ‘360 Sessions’


Deezer has launched ‘360 Sessions’, intended to highlight Sony 360 Reality Audio all around sound.

If you are a Deezer Hifi subscriber, then there is some nice news. Effective immediately, the music service has a playlist of 28 tracks ready for you, recorded in Sony 360 Reality Audio. According to Deezer, this should provide a unique immersive experience, where all parts of the sound including voices and individual instruments have their own position in a 360-degree surround sound.

With any headphones

The selection of music includes something for everyone. World stars and emerging talent, the choice is yours. Think Dua Lipa, Joesef, Barrie, Circa Waves and more. You can listen to the 360-degree sound with any headphones, so it does not necessarily have to be one from Sony. However, as already written, you must have a subscription to the HiFi version of Deezer. Ordinary” subscribers do not get to hear 360-degree sound. However, the playlist is also available to them, but then it sounds like standard stereo.
