The new Pylon Audio Amber MKII is a sturdy floor standing speaker, equipped with large-format bass units. A single box puts 65 kilos on the scale.
Polish manufacturer Pylon Audio has released the solid Amber MKII. This is a classic 2-way system, per speaker the bass is handled by two 12 inch bass drivers. These are quite broadband, the cross over frequency is set at 1200 Hz. As mid and high range drivers, the manufacturer chose the German BMS, this driver is built in a specially developed with Tractrix profile.
According to Pylon Audio, the speakers can be used for a wide range of music types. Furthermore, they are suitable for listening rooms with a size between 20 and 100 square meters.
Flexible choice of finish
In terms of the finish of the Pylon Audio Amber MKII, you can choose from real wood veneer, for which you will pay €4499 per pair. For €5199 – again the pair price – you can score a set finished in high gloss white or black. And if the choice of colors is too limited for you: don’t worry. At extra cost, the speakers can be delivered in any RAL color or other special paint. It’s always nice when you can keep control of your own color scheme to match your interior and (or) taste.
