The second largest audio show in Europe – next to High End Munich – will not take place this year; the organization of the Audio Video Show Warsaw did not think it was responsible.
With all the newly emerging Covid variants that are quite easy to spread and also mainly hit younger age groups, organizing large-scale events is a serious and irresponsible gamble. The organization of the Audio Video Show Warsaw did not want to take that gamble for unfortunately understandable reasons.
The event (click top right for English) that traditionally always takes place in autumn will therefore not take place in 2021. In 2022 a new attempt will be made, at least in terms of planning. Whether it will really take place? We’ll have to wait and see.
Versatile
The Audio Video Show Warsaw is a bit like the High End Munich. You will find – if you pass through … – a range of high-end and ultra-high-end brands in the field of image and sound. In addition, lectures are provided and there is a large headphone show.
For enthusiasts, there is also a busy trade in vinyl, with both new releases and special second-hand albums changing hands (or being able to).
The nice thing is that Munich and Warsaw complement each other perfectly. One held in spring and the other in autumn, that’s how we get through the year! Well, wait until there is a more normal situation again and events like this – if necessary on a smaller scale – can be held again.
