Sonus Faber buys De Santi woodworking

Sonus Faber

Sonus Faber has bought carpentry factory De Santi, a party with which they have been collaborating for 35 years for the production of cabinets.

With the purchase of De Santi, Sonus Faber now has its own in-house woodworking department. The collaboration between the two companies began in 1986, both having a shared passion for Italian craftsmanship and cultural heritage. Sonus Faber has already announced significant investments in the acquired business. For example, new CNC machines are planned, as is new paint equipment. The floor area of the carpentry factory also needs to be expanded. The takeover should lead to better cooperation between the loudspeaker manufacturer and the woodworking department too. This should ultimately lead to shorter production times. The possibility of fulfilling specific customer wishes in the area of customization will also be an important result of the merger.
