Rega has released an all-around delightful handmade hi-fi set specifically for vinyl enthusiasts.
The nice thing about the new Rega System One is, that it will definitely not cost you a fortune. And that, while it is a complete set! It consists of the Rega Planar 1 turntable, the iO amplifier from the same brand and a set of Kyte bookshelf speakers, also from the same house. The three components fit together perfectly well and deliver instant listening pleasure. The iO amplifier (of course) has a built-in phono preamplifier, but thanks to two available line inputs you can also connect other equipment. Adding a streamer or the like is easily done. And if you want to listen in private, use some headphones via the headphone jack.
Plug and play
The Rega System One features a handmade RB110 tone arm and factory-fitted cartridge. Setting up the set is a matter of plug-and-play. The System One has a price tag of €1599.
