Totaldac D1-Switch audio grade ethernetswitch

Totaldac

Totaldac has released a new network switch specifically optimized for audio applications, the D1-Switch.

According to Totaldac, the D1-Switch is designed for audio applications and should make opened local files sound more “natural”. The device is also suitable for streaming over the Internet. A nice detail is that the case of the D1-Switch is identical to that of the Totaldac dacs and streamer, so you can create a perfectly matching set. You’ll find three Ethernet ports on the switch, each specifically intended for a particular application. First there is one for connection to a router, then one for a streamer and finally one for a NAS. You can already pre-order at Totaldac; shipping should start this spring. The D1-Switch not exactly a cheap device by the way, with a price tag of €4490. The audiophile switch isn’t mentioned at the manufacturer’s website yet, but you can find it on their Facebook page.
