The still young Lypertek presents the PurePlay Z5, with just about everything you’d expect from a capable in-ear.
Founded in 2017, Chinese company Lypertek has already received quite a few rave reviews. Their latest product is the PurePlay Z5 in-ear headphones. They have ANC onboard and it’s a true wireless system. The manufacturer has opted for 10 mm dynamic drivers. When fully charged, the PurePlay Z5 delivers four hours of playing time (7 hours with ANC turned off). As far as we’re concerned, the playing time with ANC activated could have been just a little bit longer, but given the fact that a charging case – also equipped with a battery – is included, we can live with it. With the charging case you can refuel four more times while on the road which leads to an off-grid listening experience of up to 28 hours (with ANC turned off).
App provides additional options
Via the included app, you unlock all the features of the Lypertek PurePlay Z5. An ambient mode then automatically turns on when music is paused or stopped, so surroundings are audible then. There’s also the LDX mode which, according to the manufacturer, delivers a sound realized by a DSP with more power, energy and spaciousness. The in-ear costs €129.
