If you’re just a little more environmentally conscious, then the Urbanears Boo in-ears might be for you, made from mostly recycled plastic.
The new Urbanears Boo is available in two versions. The regular Boo consists of 97% recycled plastic and the Boo Tip, which ticks the 91% mark. According to the manufacturer, it incorporates old plastic from bottles, air conditioners and other waste. And despite its green base, it looks beautiful on the outside. So beautiful, in fact, that Urbanears won a nice Red Dot Design Award for it. Technically, it all seems to be in order too, looking at the specs. A total of 30 hours of off-grid playtime is available, but you’ll need the included charging pouch to reach that. Hands-free calling is no problem thanks to built-in microphones. And the price is not too bad either: €79 (and that price applies to both versions).
