Audiovector presents the new top model of its QR series: the QR 7 column speaker.
The Audiovector QR 7 is according to the manufacturer intended for use in both hi-fi and home theater settings, so you can go either way with it. The column with a weight of 36 kilos is equipped with two 8-inch bass drivers, a 6-inch midrange plus an Air Motion Transformer (AMT) for the high frequencies. The crossover frequencies are at 425 and 3000 Hz. The complete chassis is attached to the cabinet via a three-point suspension, which should ensure careful decoupling. The Audiovector QR 7 should, thanks to a high sensitivity and sophisticated impedance course, be able to be driven effortlessly by both tube and semiconductor amplifiers. Per pair you pay €5700, with a choice of white silk mat, piano black or a dark walnut veneer.
