Primare has announced the new SPA25 Prism integrated amplifier, intended primarily for home theater applications.
The new Primare SPA25 Prisma was supposed to debute at the cancelled British audio show HiFi Live at the Ascot Racecourse Grandstand. Striking at first is its elegant non-nonsense design with no unnecessary fuss. Under the hood, however, you will see a 9-channel integrated amplifier and processor. The SPA25 supports the latest versions of Dolby Atmos and DTS X, Dirac Live EQ, 4K HDR switching, eARC and Primare’s homegrown network player. Each channel can deliver a maximum power of 100 watts, even when all channels are in use.
Bi-amping
Bi-amping of the main left and right channels is also an option. Enthusiasts can add another stereo amplifier if desired for a total of 11 available channels. The newcomer is the first model from the manufacturer to come with the new IR remote control – compatible with every previous and current model from Primare. The SPA25 costs €5500, available from November this year.
