The new Elac Debut ConneX is a set of compact active desktop speakers designed for music, television and gaming.
The Elac Debut ConneX DCB41 – as the ceration is officially named – is the manufacturer’s first pair of active speakers. Its dimensions are extremely compact: 25 x 14 x 20 cm, perfect for placing on a desk. One speaker contains all the electronics; the other is passive and is paired with the main speaker. As drivers, Elac went for a 10 cm mid-bass driver and a 19 mm soft dome tweeter. These are driven by a 50 watt Class D amplifier. For some extra bass, you can turn on the Elac XBass Enhancer, but that’s not a requirement.
