AVM MP 5.3 en MP 3.3, tube or transistor

AVM has released the MP 5.3 and MP 3.3. Media players each with their own target audience because you choose between a tube or transistor version.

The AVM MP 5 .3 (shown above) and MP 3.3 are both completely redesigned and versatile media players. Media in the broadest sense of the term, as a slot-in CD player, a Bluetoohth receiver and a trio of digital inputs (coax, optical and HDMI-ARC) have also been implemented. Streaming via LAN and Wi-Fi is no problem either, with AirPlay and Roon supported too. Practically, both devices can also be used as preamplifiers, as AVM has provided an extensive analog volume control. There are also vital differences, though!

Take your pick

The MP 5.3 features a tube-based output stage, while the MP 3.3 has a transistor-based output stage on board. Available from the end of February, in black or silver versions. A chrome front panel is also available at an additional cost of €800. The AVM MP 3.3 costs €5990 and the MP 5.3 €7490
