The Japanese Final has presented its new flagship: the ZE8000 in-ear; wireless and equipped with ANC.
Given the $349 price, the new Final ZE8000 in-ears compete primarily with things like the Apple AirPods Pro (2) and similarly priced competitors. Final says it has more to offer though, including “8K” sound. That, according to the manufacturer, is the interaction between driver, DSP and amplifier within the earbuds. Instead of focusing on just fine-tuning specific frequencies, the time element of the sound is precisely calibrated with the DSP, Final says. A 13 mm driver is used, coupled with a class AB amplifier in each bud. On the wireless side, Bluetooth 5.2 is supported, including aptX, aptX Adaptive and AAC codecs plus, of course, SBC. ANC with four modes completes the package.
