McIntosh presents the new MHT300 AC, a seven-channel AV receiver for home theater and more.
The new McIntosh MHT300 AC is a seven-channel AV receiver. Each amplifier stage is built around a Class D power amplifier; each channel delivers a maximum power of 150 watts into 4 ohms or 120 watts into 8 ohms. A built-in DAC is provided and the system supports 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz HDMI. Of course, the MHT300 AC can also handle Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Practical is the built-in Dirac Live room correction system, which adapts your system optimally to the listening room in which it is set up. If you wish, (additional) external amplifiers can be connected too. Thus, with the McIntosh MI254 AC for example – a four-channel amplifier – you could realize a 7.2.4 setup. The MHT300 AC costs €11,500.
