If there is one brand where Bluetooth fits perfectly in terms of naming it is, of course, Blaupunkt. And their new record player TT 100 TX is testament to that. You pair the player wirelessly via Bluetooth to a set of active speakers or headphones, for example. The device is delivered ready to play, equipped with an MM cartridge. So it is truly plug-and-play. The TT 100 TX has 33 and 45 rpm speeds, so you can effortlessly play old singles too. If you wish, you can connect the player to an amplifier or hi-fi system via a cable. In that case, choose whether you use the built-in RIAA preamplifier, or go for a ‘bare’ signal that you add to an MM phono pre-amp input. Anti-skating and automatic turn-off complete the package.
