Canton has the Smart Reference 5K ready for you; a wireless and active speaker with high-end specifications. However, you still need to lay a wire to the wall socket.
Not everyone needs a jumble of cables through the living room. And it’s not always possible to clog up cabling without tough chopping and breaking. In such a case, a wireless speaker is best suited.
The new Canton Smart Reference 5K, for example. The maximum power that can be supplied per speaker is 600 Watt. The three-way system has two bass drivers and a midrange driver. These are made from a ceramic-tungsten material, with up to 20% of the molecular structure of aluminium converted into a ceramic structure. This should lead to a good stiffness-to-weight ratio, which, according to the manufacturer, improves sound quality.
Also analog sources
The 108.5 cm high enclosure is equipped with a bass-reflex system, based on Canton’s proprietary Bass Sound technology, which among other things reduces airflow noise. Of course you can use the speakers in a classic stereo setup, but don’t mind putting them in a multi-channel home cinema system.
Furthermore, analogue sources can also be connected via the Masterbox. Choose between XLR and cinch. You will also find a USB input, S/PDIF (coaxial and optical) and Bluetooth with support for aptX. The price of the Canton Smart Reference 5K is €8200. Choose from a white, black or cherry piano lacquer finish.
