Exposure presents 3510 integrated amplifier

British Exposure has released a new integrated amplifier. The 3510 is to be the first of a series of yet-to-be-released separate components from the manufacturer.

The new Exposure 3510 incorporates much of the technology of the more expensive 5010, with the 3510 intended to replace the award-winning 3010S2D. And the latter in turn is part of the 3010 series that is being phased out.

Anyway, the 3510 is capable of delivering a maximum power of 110 watts per channel into 8 ohms. You will find six line inputs on it. Should you so desire, there is an optional MM or MC phono preamp available that can be built in. Or go for a plug-in DAC, just as you like it.

The hybrid power supply of the 3510 is based on that of the 5010 monoblocks, which should ensure, according to Exposure, excellent linearity and lower distortion at high power. Exposure also informs us that this power supply has been specially designed to cause as little noise as possible on the power cables leading to the amplifier stage.

Variable or fixed

Interestingly, the Exposure 3510 also features variable volume control or fixed gain control. The latter option comes in handy in a home theater setup.

The 3510 is available immediately, with a choice of titanium or black. The asking price is £2250 British Pounds. At the time of writing, the 3510 is not yet mentioned on Exposure’s website, but it is already mentioned on the manufacturer’s Facebook page (just scroll down a bit).
