Copland CSA70 integrated amplifier

Danish Copland has released the new CSA70 integrated amplifier, equipped with just about everything imaginable.

With the new Copland CSA70, both lovers of analog and digital sound should be very happy with. The maximum power the power amplifier can deliver is 70 watts per channel. Internally, the same power amplifier technology is used as can be found in the CSA100 and CSA150 of the brand. Within the Copland CSA70 the signal paths are kept as short as possible by putting the complete circuitry on a single circuit board. An audio grade volume control can also be operated by remote control thanks to a motor drive. Another practical feature is a set of safety measures to protect the device against various fault conditions – including DC offset and overload, for example.

USB and phono

As promised, there are plenty of connections to be found. Vinyl enthusiasts are in for a treat with the MM phono input. You prefer digital sound? In that case enough to choose from too! Thera are coaxial and optical S/PDIF inputs, as well as a USB input. With the latter, a maximum quality of 24 bit / 192 kHz can be played. The frequency range of the Copland CSA70 runs from 5 Hz to 200 kHz and the manufacturer promises a THD of less than 0.01%. Also provided is a built-in headphone amplifier, of which the frequency range is from 10 Hz to 150 kHz (THD also <0.01%). Available immediately, for a price of €2990.
