
Dan D’Agostino presents two new amplifiers, the S250 MxV stereo amplifier and the M400 MxV monoblock.
Dan D’Agostino’s amplifiers are always very recognizable in terms of appearance, and this is again true of both new Momentum MxVs. The S250 MxV (pictured above) is a stereo amplifier with a power output of up to 250 watts per channel into 8 Ohms, 500 watts into 4 Ohms or 1000 watts into 2 Ohms. The frequency range runs from 1 Hz to 200 kHz, at an SNR of 105 dB. Two XLR connectors are available as inputs. Available in silver and black, other colors are available upon request.
Monobloc
The Dan D’Agostino Momentum 400 MxV is a mono power amplifier, with a maximum power of 400 watts into 8 ohms (800 watts into 4 ohms, 1600 watts into 2 ohms. Even at maximum power of 400 watts into 8 Ohms, the distortion at 1 kHz is still only 0.09%. The frequency range runs from 1 Hz to 200 kHz, with an SNR of 115 dB. A balanced XLR connection is provided as an input.
Pricing
The S250 MxV has a price tag of ÂŁ48,998 and for the Momentum M400 MxV you will pay ÂŁ45,000 (or ÂŁ90,000 for a stereo set). Owners of previous versions of the Dan D’Agostino Momentum can have their model upgraded. Prices range – depending on the model you have now – from ÂŁ14,500 to ÂŁ43,000
