dCS (which stands for Data Conversion Systems) has unveiled the latest version Ring DAC: the Apex.
Owners and new customers of dCS can indulge themselves if they go for the Vivaldi DAC, Rossini DAC or Rossini Player. A new beating heart will be available for these devices in the form of the Ring DAC Apex. This highly valued component is actually a discreetly built D/A converter coupled with clever software. Together they provide unique qualities that enthusiasts know to value highly. The Apex has undergone a major overhaul, including a redesign of the PCB and a completely new analog output stage. Next month the dCS Ring DAC Apex will debut in the new versions of the devices mentioned above. Upgrading existing equipment will be possible from May this year. The price of all this beauty is unknown at the moment.
