Notable news these days: Sound United is being acquired by the industry-leading company Masimo. The latter is a supplier of various non-invasive monitoring equipment for hospitals and home use. According to the CEO and founder of Masimo, he is a fan and proud owner of several Sound United branded devices and, according to him, it is an honor to lead the company through the next generation of technological evolutions. Furthermore, according to the CEO, both companies share a similar core, based on dedication to ‘delivering innovative best-in-class products and an enthusiastic focus on improving the user experience’. The proposed acquisition is scheduled to be completed by the middle of this year.
