Rega has unveiled the brand new Elicit MK5 integrated amplifier, featuring an all-new DAC design.
Since the introduction of the original Rega Elicit in 1990, we are now three decades further. And with that, we arrive at the new MK5 version. New in this edition of the integrated amplifier is the in-house designed DAC circuit. Digital input is available via optical or coaxial inputs. Added to those, four line inputs are present on the Elicit MK5, plus an MM phono input. For the first time on the Elicit we also see a 6.3 mm headphone output. The class A/B power amplifier delivers – in connected speakers… – a maximum power of 105 watts per channel. The Rega Elicit MK5 costs £2000, available per direct.
