
French company Triangle presents the brand new Borea series, a pair of compact Bluetooth speakers that can be used for many purposes.
The setup of the new Triangle Borea speakers is master-slave. Which means that in one speaker all electronics plus the amplifier are present, and the other is connected via a traditional speaker cable. Both the Triangle BR02 BT and BR03 BT (seen above) feature Bluetooth 5.0 with support for apt-X HD Low Latency (as well as other Apt-X variants, AAC and the basic veteran SBC. In addition, there are several physical inputs present, both analog and digital. In case one wants, a subwoofer output is also available. The BR02 BT is the smallest, equipped with a 13 cm mid-low driver and a maximum output power of 2 x 50 watts. The BR03 BT can deliver up to 60 watts per channel and is equipped with a 16.5 cm mid-low driver. Both speaker models feature a 25 mm tweeter. The Triangle Borea BR02 BT costs €499; the BR03 BT €599.
