Lyngdorf has released the TDAI-3400 HDMI 2.1 upgrade module, intended for the TDAI-3400 amplifier.
If you have a Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 on hand, you can now upgrade it with the new HDMI 2.1 module. Just plug it in and go. The module supports 8K at 50 and 60 Hz, plus 4K at 100 and 120 Hz. Further features include eARC, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). The upgrade can handle both static and dynamic HDR and wide color gamut. The module costs €750. Incidentally, more modules are already available for the TDAI-3400, including, for example, an analog/phono module, one for HDMI 1.4 and one for HDMI 2.0.
