iFi Audio LAN iSilencer network filter

iFi has released the Audio Lan Silencer, a device for galvanically separating and shielding your network-connected device from noise.

According to the manufacturer, the iFi Audio LAN iSilencer should provide more transparency and dynamics, as well as a clearer high. And all this together should make music sound more lively and open. You simply plug the filter between router, network switch or Ethernet connection in the wall, to which you then connect, for example, a streamer. The filter removes annoying electrical interference from the transmitted signal. Internally, the dongle consists of a shielded plug and Ethernet connection, with integrated ground connections. By the way, this device – unlike more esoteric solutions – will not cost you an arm and a leg, looking at its price tag of €89.

  1. My local hifi dealer did a demo on the Furutech clear line ethernet, and the difference was huge, so i had no choice but to buy the all new Furutech Clear Line LAN RJ45 Network Optimizer and the USB version. I’m ALWAYS very very sceptical about tweaks. I tried it first in my Router, then my fiber converter, and then only in my Melco S100 switch did it make a huge difference. I’m tried all sort of there LAN tweaks from IFI, Pink Fawn just to name a few and they made very little difference if any. Kemp audio NL has them all for sale. Anyone else tried these Furutech clear line products?? Or have any experiences with type of products?
