Monitor Audio announces that it has now also brought the brands Unison Research and Opera speakers under its wings.
Dutch importer Monitor Audio sent us the following message:
’After Pathos Acoustics, we have now also taken over the brands Unison Research and Opera from Analogue Audio as of August 1, 2023, again in good consultation. We think that Unison Research and Opera will fit well into our product range.
Unison Research was founded in 1987 by a group of passionate music lovers led by Giovanni Maria Sacchetti.
Since the first amplifiers (the now historical Triode 20 and Simply Two), Unison Research’s hi-fi systems have been a major international success.
Under Giovanni’s leadership – capable of combining electronic expertise, musical passion, and taste for design – Unison Research has created amplifiers and systems that have become historical and of great value.
Unison Research is now recognized as the Italian leader in the production of tube amplifiers and ranks among the top ten in Europe.
All Unison Research hi-fi systems are handmade in the laboratories in Treviso, combining technical expertise, professionalism, and craftsmanship. Opera Loudspeakers
Opera Loudspeakers was founded in 1989, but its origin goes back to the early eighties, to an unusual but very fruitful synergy between two cultures and two music lovers, one Italian and the other English. The first speaker to bear the Opera name was called Caruso and was the precursor of a series named in honor of the legendary voices of the Lyric Opera company. Callas, Operetta, and Divina quickly followed, each being received with much enthusiasm.
