No one has ever prohibited good sound in the workplace, which you can realize with the new Kanto ORA active speakers, for example.
The new Kanto ORA desktop speakers are – as befits speakers from this category – wonderfully compact. With a height of only 17 centimeters, these little Canadian speakers will always find a place somewhere. You can not only “just” put them down, but also, if desired, on one of the three separately available stands. Or hang them on the wall, just as you wish. The active ORA has a Class D amplifier with a maximum output of 50 watts on board. It drives a 7.5 cm low-frequency speaker, as well as a 2 cm silk dome tweeter.
Add a subwoofer
If you want some more solid bass, there is the separately available subwoofer. You’ll find a dedicated jack on the speakers for that purpose. As for inputs, on the Kanto ORA you have a choice of analog line in, USB-C or go wireless via Bluetooth. By the way, if you use USB-C, the maximum achievable quality is 24 bit / 96 kHz
The Kanto ORA costs €299, including a 60-day trial promo on Qobuz.
