The British hi-fi website HiFi PiG celebrates its 12th anniversary, and in these times, that’s pretty special (and undoubtedly reason for a party)!
What has characterized HiFi PiG Magazine (as it is officially called) for twelve years is its fairly frequent use of the color bright pink. This not only makes the site and the now institute stand out, but it is also an important statement. ‘We are not gray and boring, but enjoy life, are a bunch of nice and happy people.’ Or something like that. The entire project is carried by Stu Smith and his wife Linette Smith. Both also known as HiFi Pig and Mrs. HiFi Pig. The latter, by her own admission – we read on the site – has simply joined her husband’s hobby. Both “PiGs” met in the dance scene. He was a DJ, she was on the dance floor, a classic. The team is further strengthened by numerous reviewers.
HiFi PiG is now also a familiar face at many hi-fi fairs, again striking with the color pink. On to the 15, 25, 50th anniversary and beyond we’d say. There aren’t that many hi-fi sites with their own face and true love for the branch!
