The M2Tech Classic is an Italian thoroughbred and integrated amplifier that the manufacturer says is intended for demanding audiophiles.
A nice thing about the M2Tech Classic is its understated appearance. Sleek, without fuss. A wolf in sheep’s clothing, if you will. The maximum rms output power of this integrated amplifier is 60 watts. Interesting (and perhaps a little exciting…) is, that the manufacturer has refrained from electronic protection circuits. This, according to them, to achieve the best musical performance. Assuming that the power amplifier stage is so generously dimensioned that it can take a beating.
Sleek appearance, simple operation
The discrete design of the pre-amplifier section in the M2Tech Classic is special feature in itself. Also classic is the volume is control, taken care of by an Alps RK27 potentiometer. Input selection is handled by relays. For vinyl enthusiasts, the phono preamp section, also discreetly built, comes in handy. It can handle both MM and MC elements. The simple and classic-looking controls are reminiscent of similar devices from the 1980s and 1990s. No complicated fuss, in other words.
The M2Tech Classic will cost you €3999.
