With the A2D2, you get a modest (in terms of size) device that streams the output of your turntable to wireless speakers.
The big disadvantage of most of the more elderly turntables is that they are made to connect to a traditional (pre)amplifier and adjoining hi-fi hardware. For smaller homes or anyone with modern wireless speakers in the house not really convenient. But to let that old record player gather dust at a time when a modest revival of vinyl is underway? That’s exactly what the makers of the A2D2 came up with. And the resulting small sized device makes it possible to play records again, without complicated fuss.
Wide compatibility
Inside you will find a phono preamplifier to which you connect your record player. Then you pair the A2D2 wirelessly with whatever smart speaker you like. The ‘streamer’ is compatible with Sonos, AirPlay, HEOS and Chromecast. It connects via Wi-Fi or – if you still prefer to use a cable – Ethernet. All in all, a convenient, affordable way to breathe new life into retro record players of yesteryear – after possibly a refurbishment!
For the A2D2 you do not have to dig very deep into your pockets, as you pay only €177.77.
