Well, let’s be honest: whether you’re eco-conscious or not: devices made of natural materials often look just a bit ‘friendlier’ or warmer. Is of course a matter of taste. But the new Lenco 335BA looks very nice, so you don’t have to give it up for that. The bamboo plinth is the base of the belt driven player. Then there is the custom tone arm made of carbon fiber. According to Lenco, the lightweight tone arm along with the excellent acoustic properties of bamboo provide a sound that should be great.
Analog, digital or wireless
The Lenco 335BA features two speeds, the well-known 33 1/3 and 45 rpm to be exact. As for outputs, you have the choice of a stereo line output and USB-B. Handy, then, if you want to digitize your old vinyl collection before it’s really turned gray. And to top it all off, Bluetooth 5.2 is provided for pairing wireless headphones or speakers. And oh yes: there is a switchable phono preamp, so you can make it as nice as you want.
As standard, the LENCO 335BA comes with an Ortofon 2M Red MC cartridge. It also comes with a cork record mat, a 45 rpm adapter and RCA plus USB cables. Available immediately, at a cost of €449.
