The new TEAC UD-507 features more than one function. Namely, it is a DAC, preamplifier and headphone amplifier.
According to the manufacturer, their new TEAC UD-507 is designed with “musicality” as the top priority. The same design used in the top models of the 701 Series was used. In turn, you should be able to hear this approach back in the form of ‘crystal clear sound’. The maximum output power of the built-in headphone amplifier is 2400 mW. Where you can choose from three amplification factors: low, medium and high.
Bluetooth
The TEAC UD-507 can handle a maximum input quality of 384 kHz / 32 bit PCM. Furthermore, 22.5 MHz DSD is supported and even MQA is available. As the well-known icing on the cake, a Bluetooth receiver is built-in. It can handle the LDAC and aptX HD codecs. Furthermore, the familiar digital and analog (after all, it is also a preamplifier) are at your disposal. Internally, the whole is set up as dual-mono.
The UD-507 is available starting coming month, at a price of $2099.
