The Fyne Audio SuperTrax may look somewhat like a classic telegraph key, but it is actually an innovative tweeter with 360-degree sound dispersion.
The average radio amateur or telegraphist might feel a strong urge to use the inviting “knob” on the Fyne Audio SuperTrax. Don’t do it, because this device is certainly not a telegraph key. It is, in fact, a cleverly designed and omnidirectional tweeter. At its core, there is a “traditional” tweeter that directs its sound towards the cone-shaped reflector hanging above it. The tweeter is a TPCD model, where TPCD stands for thin-ply carbon diaphragm. According to the manufacturer, the frequency range of the device spans from 16 kHz to 60 kHz.
Ridiculously expensive.
