With the Teufel STEREO L 2 floorstanding active and streaming speakers, you’re up and running quickly. They feature a sophisticated coaxial chassis and three powerful wok woofers. Furthermore, they stand out for their minimalist, streamlined design and use of high-quality materials.
Hifi meets high tech
Floorstanding speakers offer plenty of volume and enough room for dedicated drivers for high, mid and low frequencies. This also applies to the floorstanding streaming Teufel STEREO L 2 speakers. The special thing about them, according to the manufacturer, ’is that the midrange and tweeter drivers are combined into one unit. This is called a coaxial chassis. The tweeter is located in the center of the midrange driver, at the top of the speaker. This setup ensures that almost all frequencies audible to the human ear have the same spatial origin. Thanks to this point sound source, the STEREO L 2 can offer more realistic and accurate reproduction than would be possible with separately placed tweeters‘.
Three massive wok-base diaphragms take care of the low frequencies. Each speaker box features three Class D amplifiers with a total output of 190 watts RMS per speaker. Although each speaker must be plugged into the power outlet, no cable connection is required between the two. This offers great freedom in terms of speaker arrangement in a room.

Direct support for Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast makes it possible to stream music to the floorstanding STEREO L 2 speakers from all popular smartphones and tablets. Multiroom streaming becomes easy thanks to the option to combine the speaker set with compatible speakers such as the Teufel MOTIV HOME and Teufel STEREO M 2. It is also possible to play music directly from the Spotify app or listen to the many radio stations available from the TuneIn Internet radio service. No wifi available? No problem. The Teufel STEREO L 2 speakers can be connected to the home network with a network cable too. Furthermore, it is possible to transfer audio from any desired app to the speakers via Bluetooth. Bluetooth is also a practical solution for giving guests control over the music, but not access to the network.
Full control
The Teufel STEREO L 2 speakers can be configured with the free Teufel Home app. This app also provides access to a 3-band equalizer, balance control, a standby timer and an auto-off timer. The three preset buttons on top of the primary speaker can be set to TuneIn stations or Spotify content. Users can thus access their favorite station or playlist with a simple swipe motion. A convenient control display that lights up on approach allows users to control playback and volume and select the sound source.
