The Limestone PP1 Tube Amplifier combines a classic aesthetic with an open design, featuring its glowing tubes prominently displayed on top.
In the past, tube electronics were traditionally built on steel frames, with tubes and larger components like transformers mounted on top. While these assemblies were often enclosed in wooden cabinets, many also showcased their components openly. This open design has its charm, as demonstrated by the new Limestone PP1. Its softly glowing tubes on the top add to its vintage allure. The output stage is designed as a push-pull system, utilizing KT88 tubes. The phase splitter and driver stages rely on Shuguang Black Treasure CV181 tubes. On request, the PP1 can also be equipped with 6SN7 TAD or NOS Sylvania tubes, offering customization options to suit personal preferences.
The Croatian-made Limestone PP1 delivers a maximum of 45 watts per channel and operates within a frequency range of 30 Hz to 30 kHz.
