The new T+A MP 200 G3 is a media player that plays just about everything. Streams, CDs, FM, or DAB+: it does it all!
Dedicated single-purpose components are great, but they do take up space, and high-quality cabling adds extra cost. A more practical solution might be an all-in-one media playback device like the T+A MP 200 G3. This unit offers an impressive range of capabilities. Of course, it supports music streaming services like Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect. You can also stream music files from your NAS, with the ability to handle DSD files natively without additional conversion. AirPlay 2 is built-in, and the device is in the process of obtaining Roon Ready certification.
CDs and Radio
If streaming isn’t enough, the T+A MP 200 G3 also lets you dust off your old CD collection thanks to its built-in CD player. And yes, radio is still alive and well, so the device includes both a DAB+ and FM tuner. Want to play music directly from your smartphone or tablet? Bluetooth is available for this purpose too. However, note that the device does not include a built-in DAC, so you’ll need to provide one yourself.
The T+A MP 200 G3 is priced at €5,490 and is available this month in silver and black. An upgrade program for owners of the predecessor model, the MP 200, is planned for spring 2025!
