Dutch Distributor Viertron has announced the launch of the brand-new Acoustic Energy AE300² floorstanding speakers, which will be available very soon!
The Acoustic Energy AE300² series builds on the success of the original 300 Series but takes a significant step forward in both value and performance. According to Viertron:
“Every component is entirely new, resulting in a completely redesigned acoustic and aesthetic experience. A brand-new mid-woofer, made from a blend of paper and coconut fibers, delivers smooth, natural, and refined sound. Paired with a newly developed soft-dome tweeter, derived from the Corinium project, this setup offers an open, delicate, and natural tonal quality, ensuring seamless integration across the frequency range.”
RSC™ Cabinets
A standout feature of the new 300 Series is the use of RSC™ cabinets with a layered damping technique—an industry first at this price point. The cabinets are designed to be as slim as possible without increasing depth. The AE307² model has been transformed into an ultra-thin sealed enclosure with a passive radiator, offering added versatility for wall mounting.
Sleek, Modern Aesthetic
The AE300² series boasts a refined and elegant design that blends effortlessly into modern interiors. Custom finishes and grills are tailored to each model. They feature a durable “silk-touch” matte coating, solid aluminum feet for floorstanding models, and high-quality grills. According to Viertron, “The result is a fresh design statement that is unmistakably Acoustic Energy.”
Models and Availability
Viertron: ‘The AE300² bookshelf speaker and AE309² floorstanding speaker are already in production and will be available by the end of February’. Both the AE307² center speaker/wall speaker and the larger, more powerful AE320² will enter production at the end of February and are expected to ship by late April.
