The brand-new WestminsterLab Omne is a reference-class high-end Class A amplifier, built like a tank.
At first glance, its innards almost looks like a piece of military-grade hardware. The WestminsterLab Omne is designed with an incredibly robust, organised and precise build. Given the price range, you would expect nothing less, but it’s still impressive to see. At the time of writing, the amplifier isn’t yet featured on the manufacturer’s website. However, you can view some images, including internal components, on this page from the German site LikeHiFi.
Dual Mono Design
The WestminsterLab Omne is a dual mono Class A amplifier, delivering a maximum output of 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and up to 200 watts into 2 ohms. The power supply is based on four large toroidal transformers, ensuring clean and stable power delivery. A precision 99-step volume control further enhances its performance.
The amplifier’s chassis is another highlight – constructed from aluminum and carbon fiber, it offers both durability and a sleek aesthetic. In terms of connectivity, multiple XLR inputs are available, along with a convenient XLR pre-out for added flexibility.
As more or less expected for a reference-class high-end model, the price tag reflects its premium positioning: €35,000.
