As many know, Pro-Ject regularly releases special edition turntables, and the latest in this lineup is the limited-edition Pro-Ject AC/DC turntable.

Unsurprisingly, this new Pro-Ject AC/DC turntable is a real eye-catcher. The design radiates pure rock energy, making it a fitting tribute to the legendary band AC/DC. But it’s not just about looks—this turntable is built to satisfy audiophiles as well. It features a newly designed low-resonance tonearm, complete with a striking lightning bolt graphic. Additionally, the fire-red LED-lit platter perfectly complements the turntable’s rock-themed aesthetics.

Made in Austria

The Pro-Ject AC/DC turntable is belt-driven, with a glass platter and an acrylic sub-platter—the latter being the illuminated part. It supports 33 1/3 and 45 RPM speeds, and it comes factory-fitted with an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, pre-mounted and ready to play straight out of the box—always a welcome feature.

Another notable aspect: Pro-Ject is a European-based company, manufacturing its products in Austria. In today’s market, choosing hi-fi equipment made in the EU can be a factor worth considering.

The AC/DC turntable is available this month as a limited edition, priced at €1299. So if you want one, act fast! For sure you’ll score something that will always attract attention every time you look at it.
