Bose has released an affordable and easy-to-use soundbar: the Bose TV Speaker.
A soundbar for the TV does not necessarily have to cost you a lot. Bose also proves this, with the new TV Speaker… that costs you €279.95. Admittedly: it is still not necessarily the bargain of the century, but certainly not falling into the category of excessive pricing.
In any case, what is nice about the newcomer from Bose is its simplicity of use. You either connect the soundbar to your TV using the supplied optical cable, or you use an HDMI cable (not included). Thanks to HDMI-CEC you can control the TV Speaker via the remote control of your TV. Furthermore, the soundbar switches on automatically when you turn on your TV.
Compatible with subwoofers
The Bose TV Speaker is nice and compact with a height of just 5.6 centimeters. Practical are the buttons for more bass and better intelligible speech. Bluetooth connections can also be controlled at the push of a button.
Internally, Bose has opted for two full range drivers, which are placed at an angle to provide a wider sound image. If you require even more bass, the TV Speaker can be paired with a (wired) subwoofer; the soundbar is compatible with the Bose Bass Module 500 and Bass Module 700.
