JBL has released the new Bar 5.0, a soundbar that includes virtual Dolby Atmos on board for an immersive sound experience.
Not everyone has the space for a full surround system. Also, you do need a lot of money to buy a system like that. To still be able to enjoy surround sound, the JBL Bar 5.0 may come in handy. Thanks to JBL’s proprietary MultiBeam and virtual Dolby Atmos, it can transport you to the cinema. But without the hassle of an arsenal of speakers and the associated wiring.
According to the manufacturer, the MultiBeam should ensure that you not only hear surround sound around you, but also feel it. Partly responsible for this are undoubtedly four passive radiators for the low end.
Multiroom
The operation and use of the JBL Bar 5.0 is a breeze. It integrates easily into multiroom systems, and can handle Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2 and Alexa Multi-Room Music. Furthermore, the Bar 5.0 is compatible with all Android and iOS devices. You can expect the new JBL soundbar this spring. The price is not too bad at all, at €399 you can get it. And with lockdowns getting longer and vaccination proving more and more to be a long-term issue, investing in a little home entertainment in 2021 is most likely not a luxury!
