Android TV offers some new features in version 12, including the ability to set the refresh rate and a new user interface.
Android TV 12 is in full swing. In the third beta version that was recently released, you will find, among other things, the ability to set the refresh rate. Also, the OS automatically switches to the most optimal refresh rate for a given application; this behavior can now also be fine-tuned.
User Interface
Also new is the user interface, which also comes into its own in 4K resolutions. This does particular justice to menu screens that now look razor sharp. Background blurring should show important information more emphatically. Furthermore, Google has thought about privacy in Android 12 TV, including visual indicators when an app uses the webcam or microphone. At the time of writing, it is not yet known exactly when the final version of Android 12 will be released.
