‘Due in part to its high standards of picture and sound quality, Philips OLED TVs have already won multiple five-star reviews, group tests and awards from European media. Philips OLED TVs have also been successful for years at EISA, one of the most prestigious expert organizations. TP Vision is therefore delighted, in addition to the TV awards, to be rewarded by EISA for the outstanding quality of its Philips Fidelio series. This after only two years of re-launching the brand,” said TP Vision’s press release.

Philips 65OLED+936

The EISA jury on the award of the EISA Home Theatre TV 2021-2022 for the Philips 65OLED+936: ”… The image processor works together with the latest OLED panel and a range of well-tuned modes to deliver first-class picture performance. The calibration is also of a professional level. Combined with the sound, this 65-inch TV belongs to the absolute top. The integrated speaker system, which was once again developed by audio specialist Bowers & Wilkins, features an optimized 3.1.2 driver. This results in a Dolby Atmos experience with a chilling sense of space, detail and clarity with a rich, robust bass response. The 65” OLED+936 from Philips is more than just a TV: it’s a complete home theater package.”

Philips 55OLED806

Regarding the award of the EISA Best Buy OLED TV 2021-2022 for the Philips 55OLED806, the EISA jury said the following: ‘The Philips 55OLED806 is a premium 4K HDR TV and introduces technology previously reserved for the brand’s top-of-the-line models, including four-sided Ambilight illumination and anti-burn-in technology. These new features are combined with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision playback, the Android 10.0 platform and advanced HDMI specification for an all-round OLED television. This mid-range model with immersive picture performance is particularly designed for gamers, binge-watchers and movie lovers (the latter benefit from the Filmmaker Mode or Home Cinema Mode)’.

Philips Fidelio B97 Soundbar

The EISA jury praised the Philips Fidelio B97 Soundbar for its immersive home cinema sound: ‘The Philips Fidelio B97 offers deep, explosive bass, an expansive soundstage, clear mids and an enveloping ambience. The soundbar is also flexible. In fact, the surround speakers can be connected to the main soundbar (while their internal batteries charge), while connections include both wired and wireless options, including HDMI eARC, Chromecast and DTS Play-Fi. With preset listening modes and custom EQ, the Philips Fidelio B97 can be fully personalized’.

Philips Fidelio L3

After experiencing the Philips Fidelio L3, the EISA jury said the following: ‘The active noise cancellation (ANC) system, based on a hybrid design with dual microphones, works superbly and is completely transparent. Moreover, the frequency extension of the headphones’ 40 mm drivers is surprising, with a powerful but perfectly controlled bass, extremely low distortion and a tonal balance that does not change with ANC in play. The fine sound is ideal for long listening sessions, especially when combined with the comfortable design and long battery life. Users will not want to take it off again’. The 55″ OLED806, Philips Fidelio B97 and Philips Fidelio L3 are now on sale across Europe. The 65″ OLED+936, among others, will be officially launched on August 31 at TP Vision’s annual launch event.
